Civil Rides Delta
Following the success of our inaugural ride, we will retrace our trail from the historic National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN, to the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson, MS.
Day 1
We will leave the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis and drive everyone down into the Delta! Once in the Delta our route will take us through some of the most intense Civil Rights history in America including areas important to the Emmett Till tragedy, the life of Fannie Lou Hamer, and other sites related to Delta Blues and American music.
Day 2
We will continue our pilgrimage through the Delta and move into the Hills of Mississippi where Civil Rights icon James Meredith was born. We will also learn about important Choctaw history in this region.
Day 3
We will ride down the historic Natchez Trace all the way to Jackson. Once we get off the Trace, we are only 10 miles from the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum where the finish line awaits!
